In The Pool

Daddy got James a pool yesterday. It was a perfect day to try it out. He liked it. ; )

Some Cute Pics

Now in these pics you can see his sandals better and the flower on them. Click on the pic and you will get a better look at them.
These pics are right after I found James had gone out the dog door. He learned how to do that trick at Auntie Jen's. D'oh! It was funny because I was sitting at the computer trying to hear where he was. I could not hear ANYTHING! My first thought I guess was the dog door. I went out the laundry room door and there he was walking down the dog ramp into the dog yard. Atleast I know he can't go farther than the dog yard. I promptly got him ready to go outside to distract the little bugger. ; )

These pics are right before he got completely covered in dirt. Rog said he had to let the water out of the tub and fill it back up he had so much dirt on him.

Out with mama collecting eggs in his new Crocs Scutes. Those are so neat. Great for being out in the dirt. Had to get a couple of those Jibbitz things too. Of course, we had to get a flower along with a paw print and a green frog.

Trying to drink out of the hose. Just a second before would have been a great pic. Missed my opportunity though. He had the hose to his lips and water spraying upwards.

James found his Butt

It was so funny. While we were outside I took James' diaper off and he realized I had taken it off of him and reached around and found his butt. It was so cute! So, he proceeded to touch his butt every once in awhile and laugh.
Also, looks like his 4th tooth is coming in on the bottom. Cutting teeth is no fun.

Looking Cool in My Shades

In the carseat ready to go. Mommy went dirt bike riding today for the first time since I got pregnant with James. I had a blast and James had fun hanging out with the daddy man while the girls took a loop on the dirt bikes and got back just in time for James' nap. I was a little rusty and am now so tired. It's been a long time, but glad I'm back at it. Daddy is glad too, soon we'll be able to go out together. Just need to find someone James likes to hang out with while we go out on a loop even if it's for a short while. Soon James will be joining us in the fun I hope. ; )

In the Garden

James and the Garden
Watching grandpa on the tractor. He loves to sit and watch grandpa on the tractor. Such a boy. Great distraction though while mama plants the second row of corn.

Oh, and I found the tooth that was coming in and causing so much trouble and lots of biting from James for a couple days. Little bitty thing coming up on the bottom left of his two bottom teeth. Now those 2 bottom teeth won't be so lonely anymore. ; )

Going Down the Stairs Part I

Holding the ball getting ready to go up the steps
Almost there. What a cute picture! Gonna have to frame this one.
Getting ready to go down. Easy does it. Pausing to look at the view.

Here we go. He wants to go down the stairs like the big kids. No going down backwards or on his bum at all. He's pretty much mastered it.

Going down the Stairs Part II

Holding onto the rail, one step at a time.
pausing for a moment

Made it

My Little Dirt Eater

Mmm.. Yum, dirt is good! And of course he has a marigold in his hand. I swear he is going to grow up doing something with flowers. He could be a florist, or maybe a floristry teacher like Mr. Zemny from High School. ; )
Close-up of the dirt eating.

One Cool Dude!

His new thing these last couple weeks is to bring us his hat or my hat or both so we can go outside. His last ditch effort this time was bringing me my socks so I could put my shoes on. Such a smart kid. Now if mama could only go fast enough so he doesn't get fussy. It takes awhile to get our sunblock on since he has mommies lovely white skin.

Look mama I have my hat on so we can go outside.

Oooh, camera, distraction for a second.

Come on mama!
