Can you believe it, he's only 3 1/2 months and over 17 pounds! Today at 15 weeks I had to put him in 6-9 month clothing! He is getting big!

Of course, it's the Geico Gecko and it's fake. Rog got a box of them at work because Geico is trying to get them to sell thier insurance to thier customers. Rog was going to put it on him when I wasn't paying attention, but he asked if he could take him he when he was nursing. I told him he could take him when he was done. He couldn't keep his secret anymore.

I just had to put this one up it is so funny and cute. He loves his sling. We finally found a happy baby and sling match. It just took me finally figuring out how to read sewing sling directions the correct way. Sigh... He loves it. I think he is studying his foot. He knows he has these great things he chews on the end of his arms, but hasn't really noticed his feet yet.

He's getting to be a big boy! Can't believe he is almost 8 weeks and 13 and a 1/2 pounds already. Sheesh! He's getting heavy. ; )

Were getting a hang of the wrap thing. James looks like he's having a serious dream the way his eyebrow is. He loves to fall asleep in it while I get things done around the house and while I'm at the grocery store.

Hehe. No, I was trying to get him to look at me and this is the face I got. Too funny. Nope, he wasn't upset either just pre-occupied with staring at something else. It kind of looks like he's free falling to the bed.

I'm not going to name names, but several relatives on both sides sleep with their mouths open. James will be one of them ; )

Baby James is Here!

James Roger Steck a.k.a. J.R. was born 4/15/06 at 2:41 pm. Weighing in at 9lbs 15 ounces and 23 inches long. I guess he needed his own special day because he didn;t land on anyone's b-day. Well, I'm sure it won't be hard to remember though. My midwife calls him tax man. Isn't that cute the kitty curled up with him?
Proud new Daddy! He loves to smile already especially in his dreams. I will have to catch one soon.

37 weeks 5days

Ok, I look like a total dork in the second picture. I think I was saying something to Rog when he took the pic. This might be the last pics of the belly before the baby is born. I have a feeling about the 3rd. I don't know why, but sounds like a good day. Plus Rog starts his weekend then. And like always I'm having a braxton/hicks contration and you can totally tell that in the second pic.

35 Weeks and 5 Day Photos

35 Weeks 3 Days

About 2 to 7 weeks to go. I had a midwife appt. on Monday and babies heartbeat is down to 136 beats per minute as it was last appt. and my midwife asked if we had picked out boy names. I told her we were pretty sure it was a boy so we'll see. I will be so surprised if it is a girl. Gained about 30 pounds so far and don't think I will gain too much more. I can't imagine gaining 50 - 100 pounds like some people do. That's a lot of extra weight to carry around. I couldn't imagine. Other than that just trying to take it easy. Getting really tired. Baby still moves around a lot, but I've noticed it isn't always awake in the morning like it used to be, but going to bed and the rest of the day it's pretty active in there. I got it to turn more forward too so it's back isn't to my back anymore. That can cause a longer labor sometimes. Anywho, I will try to get pictures up of my belly soon, I'm getting BIG.

32 Weeks 4 Days

Major nesting going on here. Now I know what it means. You keep doing stuff even though your tired and you need to relax. You just have this urge to get as much stuff done as possible. Other than that just getting bigger, had a major growth spurt this week. I'm 40 inches around the middle now and at the beginning of the week I was 39 1/2. My belly looked like it had gotten smaller last Friday and baby probably just moved into a better fitting position, but now I'm protruding more again. Will have to get Rog to take another picture of me and my belly. I'm up to 30 pounds gained now. Wow! Didn't think I'd be able to gain that much. My midwife wanted me to gain 40 pounds since I'm going to breastfeed and I'm nearly there. :)
I put the carseat in the car the other day and Rog has to take it to get the tires rotated tomorrow. I didn't tell him I put the carseat in there and want to see if it freaks him out. Hehe, I know I'm being mean since he already is nervous enough about the whole thing, it's still funny though. :D I love giving him a hard time about it.

30 Weeks!

Here I am with the big belly. Sorry its a little dark Rog must have put his finger over the front of the camera. Were only 10 weeks away from our due date! Wow! Not long now! Baby is still having lots of hiccups, atleast twice a day. The last two visits to the midwive's I've measured two weeks ahead. She doesn't feel a huge baby or anything, but thinks I might go early. Woohoo! The baby was also posterier and would kick my midwife everytime she would try to get a heartbeat. It was too funny! I got my list for birth supplies today. I can't wait to get my birth kit in the mail and find the rest of the stuff I need for the big day.
